Recipe : Famous Ketan ( Sticky Rice)


    White sticky rice or known as ketan is a breakfast meal that every hawkers at market or around street in the morning easy to find. The texture which more sticky than rice, with collaboration of sweet coconut grated on the top, make this dish very savory. Now lets make your own ketan!


Main Ingredient :

  1. 1/2 liter white sticky rice ( soak for 5 hours)
  2. 1 coconut ( grated)
  3. 1 tbsp salt
  4. 2 glass hot water
How To Make :
  1. Wash the soaked white sticky rice. Drain.
  2. Heat a steaming pot with 2 glass water, add the white sticky rice, grated coconut and salt.
  3. steam for 10 minutes, then check the taste.
  4. Ketan ready to serve. for topping can be used salty grated coconut or serundeng.
